OUR ETHOS:
The Play Pen aims to make a difference in the lives of young children between the age of 4 months and 6 years, by providing them with a safe environment in which to grow the confidence they need to equip themselves for their everyday encounters within the educational arena.
The Play Pen uses a multi-disciplinary and holistic approach to support and assist children in their development - physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally by addressing the uniqueness of each child in a nurturing environment.
Learning is facilitated and guided through play, experience, experimentation and exploration, encompassing a traditional child-centered methodology approach together with the more creative Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches.
The intimate environment enables children to have individual attention concentrating on the child’s happiness, confidence and instilling in them a sense of high self worth and esteem.
